Halloween 2010

Our church did their Halloween Party/Trunk or Treat/Chili Cook Off/Magician tonight. I made Wes' shirt, hat, and belt. Which was a minor disaster and took a lot of cutting apart seams and resewing, but in the end after some blood, sweat, and NO tears we have Peter Pan. I tried not to be too irritated that everyone kept calling him Robin Hood all night. Why would Robin hang out with Tinkerbell and Wendy? I reworked my bridesmaid dress from my sister's wedding...perfect Wendy dress! I did buy Scarlett's Tinkerbell dress at the Disney store for $18 which I thought was a steal.

Crazy Nightmares. . .or Dreams?

I recently joined a gym and began working out. We chose the gym because they have a child care center and we're able to leave Scarlett there for up to two hours a day. Is it weird that since I joined and have been leaving Scarlett in their care, I have had multiple dreams where I left her there and went shopping and didn't come back until closing time? I'm not sure if this is a nightmare showing I'm afraid of leaving my baby girl with someone else because something may go wrong or if its my inner conscience dying for a little bit of freedom. . .a little bit of baby free shopping!? I'm thinking its probably both!

Scarlett 4 Month Video

I have already uploaded the video and that took too long to log out of his name, log in under mine, and then upload it again. I edited this video all by myself and I am pretty impressed with the sweet transitions I added...thanks to iMovie!

Scarlett 3 Month Video

Okay, so we KNOW that Scarlett is 6 months old, but we have all of this adorable footage of her that we never posted. So, we'll catch up to the current Scarlett in about two to three blog posts. This video is about a week after our stuff arrived in Houston when Scarlett was 3 months. I know many of you would never have noticed but for those of you that do, we were still unpacking, hence the messy background in some of the shots.

Inchworm

Scarlett is going mobile. She recently learned to roll over and even more recently she learned to flip back (which is awesome because she used to just cry until we laid her on her back again). She is really on the move. When we put her in the crib she is never in the same place that we left her. In the last couple of days she has started to scrunch up and put her little butt in the air, then she scoots forward like a little inchworm. It's pretty cute.
