New York New York

Jennifer and I enjoyed our stay in the New York New York Casino in Las Vegas on our way to California for Christmas. Apparently this is not a boom time for Vegas and the hotel rates are significantly cheaper during this time of year, so we used it as a pit stop. Being the bottom feeders that we are, we still chose the rock bottom hotel room offered in the New York New York. I did not know this and while we were checking in I asked Jennifer with excitement which of the room options we were going to check into. She pointed to the cheapest one. The very nice clerk said, “Oh we can’t let you stay there, we’ll let you sample something a little different.”

Here was his idea of something different.

We were in a suite with green windows.

So yeah, it was a nice pit stop.
