Why is Scarlett so quiet?
Wes and I were sitting on the couch and noticed that Scarlett had been quiet for a while. So, we went to investigate and this is what we found.
Does she even look guilty? No.

She's practicing her small motor skills.
Quiet usually equals trouble but in this case I was totally willing to sacrifice a few crayons for a few moments to rest.
This is one very funny little girl! She totally cracks me up with her thinking. For some reason, crayons don't need that paper stuff around them. I would so love for a talk bubble to appear over her head when she does things like this - we would all probably laugh so hard we would hurt! Pooh
When I saw the first picture with her in her little pink place and a box of crayons I wondered if she had scribbled all over her playhouse. Whew! Looks like the damage is minor. Gotta watch out for that "quiet."
I find it interesting that she put the papers outside of the house. I guess she is a tidy housekeeper, or she was trying to hide the damage from mom and dad--like an ostrich. They stick their head in the sand and think nobody can see them (or so I've been told). If she can't see the crayon wrappings maybe mom and dad can't, either. Too cute!
I do believe this is something Jennifer use to do when she was this age. I have to agree with the crowds, quiet means trouble. Nancy had a good observation, all the paper was outside of her little dwelling. too funny.

Maybe she's just rebelling at Crayola. Saying, "Hey, don't tell me the names of these crayons. It's not 'Mauvelous' in my book. I actually call it 'Harold and Mauve'."
